The boss. The head honcho, the top dog, the big cheese. This role is as
demanding as it is gratifying, as it involves leading the team from the
start to the finish of every issue, as well as general committee
management. Naturally with such high demands on time (outside of the
medical course, that is), it is a position that requires a high degree
of organisation and capability. The editor is involved in the general
layout of the paper, the styles and the focus of the issue, and indeed
the policies of the newspaper. Along with this, the Editor also liaises
with the members involved with the maintenance of the paper, such as the
treasurer and the patron societies, thereby shaping the direction and
future of the publication. |
